用英文向外國朋友介紹端午節！

The Drangon Boat Festive is a traditional Chinese holiday. The origin of this festival is to respect a patriotic poet named Qu Yuan,who lived during the Warring States Period. Because his advice was not accepted by the emperor,when he heard his country Chu was captured by Qin,he felt very sad and threw himself into the Mi Lo River on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.

To commemorate Qu Yuan's patriotism,people will hold dragon boat races, eat glutinous rice dumplings called zongzi,hang mugwort on the front door, carry fragrant sachets and drink Hsiung Huang Wine to seek protection from evil and disease.

端午節是華人重要的節日，起源於紀念戰國時期的愛國詩人屈原。他因為建言不被皇帝採納，當聽到他的國家楚國被秦國攻佔，他感到非常傷心，所以在農曆5月5日這一天投汨羅江自盡。

為了紀念屈原的愛國情操，人們會在端午節會舉辦龍舟賽、吃米做的粽子、配戴香包、在家門口掛艾草以及喝雄黃酒，祈求趨吉避凶。
